ACS PC Linked Smart Card Reader ACR39U-UF

Introducing yet another breakthrough for ACS readers, the ACR39U-UF Smart Card Reader is one of ACS's latest products addressing the evolution of USB standards.

The ACR39U-UF boasts a USB Type C connector which features reversible plug orientation and cable direction. This allows for mobile-to-device product designs for future smart card applications. The Type-C connector can also be inserted either way as unlike the older USB cable, it doesn't matter which side is up.

This palm-sized reader is designed with the same core as the ACR39U Series. It also supports ISO 7816 smart cards and various memory cards, in addition to microprocessor cards with T=0, T=1 protocols.

The ACR39U-UF is compliant with PC/SC and CCID standards which keeps the device compatible with current applications under USB specifications.This product is also designed to be easily integrated into computing and mobile device-based environments. Its drivers are compatible with major operating systems, including Windows, Solaris, Linux and Mac OS. In addition to this, the ACR39U-UF also works with mobile devices running on Android™ versions 3.1 and later.
