It is designed for both Near-Field Communications (NFC) and supports standards such as ISO14443A/B to allow easy support for popular cards like Mifare Classic and Mifare DESFire. As you would expect of a NFC reader, it supports ISO/IEC 18092 standard and therefore all four types of NFC tags.
