ACS Contactless Reader ACR1252U-M1

The ACR1252U is USB reader specializing in reading and writing to NFC Forum-certified credentials through its 13.56Mhz contactless technology. It cleverly contains a Secure Access Module (SAM) for additional security applications wanting to incorporate a a SAM card for further authentication or key diversification. It is possible to upgrade its firmware in the field as this is supported. The reader supports all three NFC modes; peer to peer (active communication with another NFC device), reader/writer (active/passive transmission) and Card Emulation (acts as a passive device). The ACR1252U is compliant with CCID and PC/SC allowing easy interopability with other devices and applications. You can purchase an optional stand (see part number R-ACS-STD019) to hold the cardat a good viewing angle. In terms of standards it supports ISO14443A/B for easy integration with popular card platforms like Mifare and Felica. Needless to say it also supports all ISO18092-compiant NFC tags as you would expect.
