Based on HID’s Secure Identity Object (SIO) data model the cards support AES-128/2TDEA cryptographic algorithms for extremely high data protection including One-Time Password authentication. Also see how they can work securely with HID’s DigitalPersona authentication solution that we support directly. These HID Seos® 8k Clamshell are thicker than an ISO sized card, but the product is more durable than others on the market due to its ultrasonically welded ABS shell. It is therefore more resistant to bending, cracking, and breaking.
