HID’s iCLASS 2k/2 Clamshell Card are based on HID’s smart card technology using a 64-bit diversified key for read/write capability for Access Control. These Clamshell are thicker than an ISO sized card, but the product is more durable than others on the market due to its ultrasonically welded ABS shell. It is therefore more resistant to bending, cracking, and breaking. They can also be used as a factor for HID’s DigitalPersona authentication solution for PC logon that we support directly.
