Universal Smart cards has taken a proactive approach to ITSO and has taken several smart cards through ITSO approval. We are one of the few suppliers that have full ITSO accreditation for JCOP30, JCOP31, JCOP41, Mifare 1k and Mifare 4k cards.

From their own website the ITSO specification covers the following "...the entire system - smartcard, point-of-sale/service, back office, data formats, data transfer, and security architecture. With that in mind Universal has partners that work in these areas to provide you with the complete solution.

One of our partners is Ecebs, who have established themselves as the pre-eminent technical authority on the interoperable ticketing specification, ITSO. Ecebs designed and built the ISAM, the core component of the ITSO scheme that ensures the loss-less integrity of the whole ITSO environment.
