Investors In People
Universal Smart Cards has successfully retained its accreditation for Investors In People on the 4th January 2008.
Michael Jennings on behalf of Capital Quality Limited, Investor in People Assessor, said in his Executive Summary "I want to congratulate the Directors for the ways in which they continue to model good practice as far as leadership and development are concerned. There is a clear and systematic approach to consulting with the team over the development of the business, reviewing performance, and identifying and acting on people's development needs. People are fully involved in decision-making whenever appropriate and everyone gave examples of ideas they had put forward which had been considered and, in most cases, taken up in order to improve procedures. Everyone described a climate where open communication, constructive feedback, continuous development and recognition for contributions made is the norm. There is a climate of continuous improvement across the Company, and this report highlights some recent improvements to the ways in which people are supported and developed in order to improve the Company's performance."
