Michael has a strong background in card-driven access control systems to Government and large corporate organisations. Having worked with major global players including Group 4 and Gemalto, where he was responsible for a number of high profile accounts throughout the UK, he set up Universal Smart Cards with fellow director, Chris Allen. Michael has worked in the smart card sector for a number of years and has a strong knowledge of the market place. His motto is to ensure customer service always comes first. "The value of listening to clients and ensuring I provide the right solution to their problem in a professional, efficient manner is paramount," he says. |

As co-founder of Universal, Chris is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business and management of personal sales accounts. He has had an unbroken career in customer and sales management. His smart card expertise stems from his days at Group 4 Security, where he gained considerable knowledge of access control systems for corporates as well as national and local government, and later with Gemalto. There he developed a client base in the emerging smart card markets including loyalty, access, transport, government, cashless vending and education. Chris also has a good insight into smart card production processes, personalisation and product training and is director of Card Personalisation Solutions, a separate limited company personalising cards. |
